It was clean and the single room is actually a double room but only with one bed, so very spacious.
The breakfast was a bit poor only sweets and bread-like products.
That the hotel staff was curtious and helpful and that they weren't obnoxious for us to check out.
The neighborhood and some of the other patrons. Traffic of shady individuals coming/going. Glad I wasn't alone in the neighborhood.
Had to wait several minutes for an attendant at the desk.
The staff was relaxed yet professional, and extremely friendly and helpful. For that reason alone we would recommend this location.
It was unfortunate that our side of the hotel faced a business with large equipment (I.E. a truck large enough to haul construction machinery) - a business that was operating at 6:30am on a Saturday! The floor/ceiling let a lot of noise through. The people above us were lively, but we never got the impression that they were screaming, shouting, or stomping.
Was close to my family and the price was within my budget. The bed was comfortable, and the furnishings were adequate.
The room still smelled of tobacco smoke. The carpet needs to be shampooed. I was locked out of my room twice because the person that checked me in didn't get the correct information in the computer. Also it took me 45 minutes to check out because the day person on the desk had to go back into the computer and try to find out what happened. Finally she called her boss in order to get the credit for my credit card. Everything was settled to my satisfaction. I just think that it never should have happened in the first place. Also the last night I stayed it was 18 degrees outside and I could not feel any heat coming from the radiator. I didn't say anything because it was late at night and I was going to bed. The room was still cool when I left the next morning.
It was affordable and close to the football game we were attending.
It was in a rather scary section of town and there was a disgusting bug with many many legs crawling on the wall.
This Super 8 is not very luxury. I have stayed in much better ones for a cheaper price. They have small beds, small rooms, and the staff aren't very friendly or knowledgable. I was afraid to stay on the first floor for fear of our room being broken into. I prefer the Days Inn or Microtel
Urine smelling room, extremely dirty windows, boxspring absolutely filthy
Everything!!! Dirty drug infested sink drains didn't work rooms were dirty ac units barely worked bedspread was stained!! I was asked in the elevator if I knew where to get weed!!!!
the guest and the the people who were in the rooms were not what I expected I would not stay again The hotel was ok but the guest that this hotel attracted was so bad I would come again
The woman that worked day shift and the man that worked overnight were very nice.
I had to wait until 4:00 pm to check into my room. The man at the desk was frustrated with me because I kept asking when our room would be available and he didn't have an answer. Then, the last time I went in to check, the housekeeper came and said all the rooms were clean. "Our room" that we had been waiting for was never even actually assigned to us. Everyone that was waiting before us got a room and the man at the desk said that it was not his fault because I didn't book the room with him back in April. He also went on to yell at me in front of other customers saying that none of it was his fault and that I should not be upset. He had the worst customer service skills. I understand that it can be frustrating, but he was not even trying to get us a room the entire time until the housekeepers finally went up to him and said they were finished. I will never stay there or recommend this hotel, or any other super 8 again which is too bad because they were often a nice place to stay. On top of the bad service, the hotel itself was not clean. I understand if they can't afford to update everything, but it was not worth it. Unfortunately, almost all hotels were booked within the entire area, so I did not have much choice.
Room was dirty. Police showed up when what seemed to be permanent residents had issues. These were issues that kept us from sleeping well. Did not bother complaining to staff because it seemed this was the norm here. Booking through Booked.net at this hotel was a big mistake. It's a pig sty. Will not book through them anymore. Very disappointed. Every cent I spent there should be returned to me with an apology to my wife for the filth and vulgarities she put up with at the Super 8 on Old Hudson Rd in St Paul. Thankyou, Roy.
Close to the downtown.
They overcharged the the money. I made the reservation through Booked.net and the total charge was $293.25. With tax it should be about $322. But they charged me $376.52. So I asked the front desk and they said the overcharged money is holding, which is kind of deposit. The manager said that they will give me back the money when I check out but they didn't. They didn't even give me the reciept. When I checked out, they said the printer was not working so they said they will send me the reciept through the email. But still didn't send me the email. Off course I reminded them by sending email to send me the reciept but there is no answer. If there is no reaction to this situation, I am going to sue the police. I came back to my country so I don't know if I can get the money back, but there should be no victims like me.
If you call "like" , the managers were dedicted- to the wrong people. They deserve to work in much better conditions with much better wages. They were polished and trying very hard. The inmates are running the jail.
I have traveled extensively. I felt safer as a female traveling alone as a woman in Haiti for the summer after the earthquae than I did in this motel. People were openly smoking pot, grabbing crouches and making lewd comments to imtimidate, allowing children to run and make noise up and down the hall for hours. The few that disiplined their children hit them with a belt. I am tolerant of all people, but his was the first time I felt unsafe to sleep overnight in a motel. Do not think of staying here.
it was not very clean, we had one towel and no wash clothes for two people, and the computer was down when we checked out so we did not get a reciept.
